Come on people you are forgetting about one of the hottest teams in Baseball right now the Oakland A's! Look at that pitching staff that they have: Barry Zito, Joe Blanton, Esteban Loaiza, Dan Haren, and when he is healthy Rich Harden.
They also have a good bullpen in Kiko Calero, Justin Duchscherer, Chad Gaudin, Joe Kennedy, Kirk Saarloos when he doesn't start for Rich Harden, Scott Sauerbeck, Huston Street who is a good closer, and Jay Witasick.
Also they have some guys with pop in their bats like Milton Bradley, Eric Chavez, Bobby Crosby when he is healthy, Mark Ellis, Bobby Kielty, Mark Kotsay, Jay Payton, Marco Scutaro, Nick Swisher, and Frank Thomas.
They will play the Cardinals in the World Series and win in 5 or 6 Games because the American League is the most Dominate League out there and also the last two years its been an American League team that has won a World Series.

Either the Twins,The Tigers,The Mets or The RedSox.The Whitesox lost a few chance, and they might not even make the play offs.If Tom Glavine doesnt need surgery, the mets have a legit chance at winning the 2006 World Series. If Joe Mauer and some of the other All-Stars on the Twins can stay hot, they alsoo have a legit chance. The RedSox are fading fast right now,but the game they are playing right now suggests they could stay in a Pennant Race. The Tigers can play very good Baseball, but they are also fading a bit,the thing is,they have proven they can play the best of Baseball(The Twins,Whitesox,Yankees and Redsox)so if they start playing that same type of ball, they could also win it.
My 2 cents

lol to whoever said that Boston Red Sox. Have you not been watching the "Boston Massacre 2" with the New York Yankees scoring 47 runs in 4 games against them? Earlier I might have agreed with you that Boston had a chance but they have just fell apart down the stretch. I think it will be the New York Yankees Vs. New York Mets with the Yankees coming out victorious in 6 games.

The St. Louis Cardinals will beat the upset American League winners the Oakland Athletics in 6 games. Hey, everybody else will pick the Yankees - time for someone to acknowledge there are other teams.

I'm hoping for another subway series between the Mets and the Yankees. And since the Yanks won the last one of those, I'm cheering for the Mets!!

As Mr. Leo Durocher once said it ain't over till it's over.........But when that preverbial fat lady sings...and all is said and done.I have too belive that the White Sox are going too squeak on thorugh with the home field advanage and all in the end.Yes,the Mets are mighty & Detriot is red hot! Minnesota Twins are perking up thier bid for a wild card race and all is going cool with the baceball season so far! If Boston get's in,,,,,,I'm happy for Sammy Sosa! I know it's not too piss off the Cubs either.I don't think he's that way! But damn,if October doesn't come too fast every year! My prediction is the WHITE SOX! Hope I helped?Who do you want too win????????????????????????????????
