Nothing special. Just another day of life. A lot of people see the idea of getting old as a bad thing but let me put it this way, a lot of people don't even make it to their teens, twenties or thirties. A lot of people die everyday. So, don't take life for granted. Be glad that you are older and alive. Everyday of life is a miracle. I see people die at the hospital all the time. It's not fun.

I am not 31, but I was 31 a long time ago.
I did nothing, I simply can't help it but just turned 31! ha, ha, gotcha!

My wife reminded me that I turned the clock back by 3 hours so that I missed the precise moment when the laws of nature added that extra one year to my then 30 wonderful years. Yep, I slept through the first few hours of turning 31... slept like a baby!

Enjoy your 31st, it will only last another 364 days! And also think how lucky you are for having made 31 years on this planet. I tend to look at an 80 year old and say: "M'dm or Sir, you are lucky!" They made it, whereas those who haven't got there can't be sure if they ever will.

So don't be sad when you progress in your age. Count your blessings, mate!

Pretty much what I've always done... celebrated Christmas :-p My birthday is December 25th so I'm lucky if people even remember it's my birthday, too....

It was at least better than my 30th birthday, because I was pregnant with twins at the time, and still experiencing severe nausea. Last Christmas, when I turned 31, they were still too young to really participate in anything, but I think this one will be more fun, now that they're toddlers...

As I recall, it was pretty uneventful. I think I had a cocktail and a nice dinner, but didn't do much aside from that. Went home and had a quiet evening. Fell asleep. It wasn't exactly the party of the century.
