Yes,its true if you received something or anything to anybody you will try to pay it back not in a form of money but in doing, lets say for example someone did good things to you,its doesnt mean that you will pay him money for what he did,but you have to do good things to him also,or lets say you will not pay directly to him,but you have to pay it forward,to others,in that way you pay him already. hope you like this answer.........cheers

I think it's true that nothing is free; everything has a price, if only in terms of "opportunity cost" – that is, all the stuff you're missing out on by choosing to go with a given thing.

On the other hand, there are some astonishingly good deals out there.

Yes. What is free today will not be free tomorrow. Water for example once used to be a free resource. But nowadays you need to pay to get good drinking water. Air is still free. But oxygen masks are cropping up in many places.

I can't imagine of the day when things like love, respect, trust etc. will also have to be payed for!!

In essence, it could be said that nothing is free. There's an economic term called "cost of oportunity" that states that for every choice you make, you win something, but you also loose something. When you breath, your doing it for free, but you also loose the opportunity to die and get ride of possible future disgraces. This is a pretty exaggerated position to take though.

Yup. Even the things that are "free" like air was paid to be clean otherwise factories would freely industrialize and contaminate the atmosphere. There are laws for that and comapnies lose money for not being able to overly expand.

i believe you do have some things for free. A smile from a nice girl, a joke someone tells, simple stuff, little things that we sometimes forget to treasure are free. I would say.

Oh, some things are....a lovely blue, cloud-filled afternoon...the innocent smile of a child, the buzz of a dragonfly on a hot, July morning. So many joys are free, if we slow down long enough to find them.

The only thing free is the cheese in the mouse trap.

I suppose, to some extent...
I guess simple pleasures in life like the air we breathe, a smile, the beauty of our forests are among other things we take for granted.

I think it's true to a large extend, but I would hold that there are exceptions. For instance, certain kinds of charity donations, I think, come without strings attached.
