It was so sad watching me dad die of cancer. I am listening to "Blue, Red, and Grey" by The Who.

My Dad is alive as well as my mom, but I know what it's like to watch a parent die, because my Mom is an alcoholic and I watch her kill herself everyday. I know there's a big difference in cancer and alcoholism and by no means am I trying to compare the two, but anyway you look at it it's still "watching". I am very sorry for your loss cancer is a very painful, unforgiving disease. But, try not to listen to sad songs anymore it's just going to make you feel worse. Good luck.

My dad died of cancer when I was 19. I know how you are feeling. It does get easier over time but the pain always remains.
Just remember all the little things about your Dad those are the ones that mean the most.

I also lost my Dad to Cancer 7 years ago. My Mom is still alive.

My mom died of lung cancer on Aug. 28, 2002.

Yes. My Dad was killed by a sanitation truck 3/00. My Mom died of lung cancer 9/01. ....sigh....

no, and i feel very sorry for you. i couldnt stand if any of them died, but think of this, he's not suffering pain, one of the people i sorta knew died of cancer too. a brain tumor. but now, i know shes happily living her life with God
