Have everyone take a peice of paper and put it on their heads (no lie lol) And then have everyone draw a picture of a baby while keeping the paper on their heads.....It was SOOO fun and everyone at my shower loved it.....

When everyone is done, tell them to write their initials on the back of the paper and then you choose the best one or however many you chose to win that game!!

Trust me, everyone will think its a riot!

I always cringe inside when I realize that I'm going to a shower with games. Especially the interactive ones that make you have to get up and participate in something silly. I'm shy by nature and I hate doing anything that puts the attention on me, and I know I'm not the only one. However most people can tolerate and even enjoy games on paper, or ones that don't really involve much interaction.

Crossword puzzles or word searches are fun, there are places online where you can make your own.

I've played a game before where the hostess has the mama to be bring out lots of baby related items on a tray (after the shower the guest of honor get to keep the items), then gives the guests a few minutes to study the items. Items get put away and everyone tries to remember the most items. A twist on this game is having the mother to be leave the room with the tray and instead of being told to write down as many items they can remember they are asked questions about what the mama is wearing that day.

Another game I've done that's been a hit is to have a list of items that a mother may have in their purse and every item has point value, all the guests scavenge through their purses trying to find said items.

An alternative to games is to have a craft. I once puchased a bunch of onesies in different sizes and fabric paints to let the guest decorate onesies for the guest of honor.

Good luck finding activites that suit your shower the best!

At my cousins baby shower we played a game where there was melted candy bars in diapers and you could taste, smell the candy and then name what candy it was. We also played guess the price of the items and whoever was closest at the end to the total amount go a prize. We also played baby bingo where you filled out a bingo card with things that were bought for the mom. Then, the gifts were opened and we played bingo. I hope this helped.

I had two showers, one before my daughter was born and one after. We only played games at one and here is what we played.

1. name the baby food - we were given plates with #'s 1 to 10, someone would come around and give us a spoonful of baby food on the plate, we would taste it then right down the answer. The one with the most correct answers won a small prize. NOTE: choose foods that are similar in colour i.e.) peas & gr. beans, mixed veggies & carrots, purnes & blueberries etc.

2. Name the baby animal - we were provided with sheets of paper that had a number of animals listed and we had to write down the correct name of the baby i.e. Swan - cygnet, Owl - owlet, Cow - calf etc.

3. Just to keep people busy they created a crossword puzzle that had my daughter's name, birthdate etc.

Hope this helps and I hope you don't think I provided you with a Stupid answer.

I personally love the game where you can't say the word baby... everyone gets a necklace or clothespin in the beginning of the game and whoever has the most by the end of the game wins.

GAME ONE: Get everyone to bring a baby photo of themselves and lay them out on a table and get your guests to name all the photos (get them to write their answers on a piece of paper and dont show anyone). The person who guesses the most amount wins a prize.

GAME TWO: Belly measurements: Everyone one get a piece of string on a roll and guesses what length is needed to go around the pregnant belly, the closest one wins a prize.

GAME THREE: Blind fold nappy: blind fold each guest in turn and the fastest to put a nappy on a doll correctly gets a prize.
