because you certainly are a jackoff. what kind of scum would sit and listen to an attorney who isn't working on your behalf?....lol..you gotta be retarded. they are tragedy vampires, making a living off of the suffering of others. its really pathetic. then there's the fact that the network could be used for airing "actual" news, that affects everyone.
dont get me wrong, courts are a serious issue, but let the system work, instead of using it as entertainment.

Depends - I mostly watch it for the repeats of "Cops," 'cause there's nothing like watching people who are having a worse day than you. Some of the crime shows are interesting at times.
Probably the main reason we get into watching this channel (and I admit getting sucked in when they read the verdict live for that mother that killed her five kids) is that cameras in the courtroom are still not allowed in many states, so unless you're on the wrong end of the lawsuit or you get snagged into jury duty, that's the only way you're going to see a real trial close-up.
As for entertainment... admit it, our society is such that if executions were put on pay-per-view, some people would be maxing out their credit cards to watch it, then would Tivo it and study it like the Zapruder film.

I watch Court TV -- I am totally interested in the forensic shows. It amazes me the technology available to catch criminals and figure out crimes that are decades old. I wouldn't say that makes me retarded, but if you think so, I guess I'll mark you off my gift list. And, by the way, what do you even CARE what channel anyone watches???

I like to watch court tv for the shows like cops, real stories of the highway patrol, texas justice, etc. It is so funny to see the idiocy of the criminal mind on these shows. A good master criminal is said to border on genius. These shows let me look at the pathetic end of being a pitiful criminal and it just cracks me up.
