Indeed I have had and am still having a strange dream that comes to me every once in a while about someone Ive never met or seen before. The interesting thing is it starts like any ordinary dream. I am at a random place a beach, bar, library, store, etc. The dreams slowly carries on without any abnormal events and yet seems to keep my interest. After a short time I will make a sudden movement like look up, turn around, turn my head, blink, or focus. Then suddenly without any control my complete attention is focused on this one woman. Strangely this woman is beautiful in every way but her face is always blurred and it is always the same woman just a different event or situation. But even more strangely is that when I first started having these dreams I did not pay much attention and I saw little of her. Though more and more I began to notice her characteristics and beautiful features and then slowly started to get a sense of attraction and comfort. She never speaks and is always in a situation where I only get a moment to notice her. After I see her the dream immediately ends as if the dream was for her only. I only get this dream once in a while throughout the year and each time I try to focus more and more on her. My best guess is that she is there to tell me something but I must figure it out or remember it before I can see who she is.

That is purely psychological in nature. Your daytime memories (what your friend told you and showed you about this guy) are some how influencing you subconscious enough at night during your non-REM state and all of a sudden, you find yourself dreaming about this stranger whom you have never met. If the dreams are pleasant and you like him, go for it! After all, it's only a dream.

A dream is the experience of envisioned images, voices, or other sensations during sleep. Dreams often portray events which are impossible or unlikely in physical reality, and are usually outside the control of the dreamer, (although some people have reported lucid dreaming, breaking the suspension of disbelief and realizing they are dreaming—being sometimes even capable of changing the oneiric reality around them and controling various aspects of the dream). Many people report experiencing strong emotions while dreaming, and frightening or upsetting dreams are referred to as nightmares. The scientific discipline of dream research is oneirology.
Dreams have a long history both as a subject of conjecture and as a source of inspiration (artistic or otherwise). Throughout history, people have sought meaning in dreams. They have been described physiologically as a response to neural processes during sleep, psychologically as reflections of the unconscious, and spiritually as messages from God or predictions of the future (oneiromancy).

Yup, I've seen people I've never met before, but not someone a friend has mention in his/her dreams. But it would also be pretty freaky/awesome if you had a dream about someone you've never met... but end up meeting that person in real life afterwards....

You think it's really him? Or you think it's just your imaginaition imagining him that way cuz we tend to think of things the way we want to rather than what the acutal truth is. You may just be picturing your idea of him, he may be fat and ugly in real life. Stop dreaming about him, cuz you might get dissappointed, then again if he turns out hot like in your dreams go for him, lol.

I've had dreams like that before, too! They're weird, but interesting. Usually it involves a wedding or pregnancy. Always a big event.

In dreams we don't only see the people we have seen before.if you saw it couple of days it means in the first day you don't know him.after the first day you are aware of him.that is the reason you saw him next day.it is not a problem to be confused.
