Completely normal!
You will pass small clots, big clots, things that look like tissue.
Obviously when you have your period its your uterus lining so there is bound to be something that resembles what your talking about.
By the way when you start to experience cramps, put your legs up, use a hot water bottle or heatpac, or get on your hands and knees and just stay like that for a while, there are heaps of tips.
email me if you need any more help hun!
good luck!

Blood clot or a misscarriage. A misscarriage is usually accompanied by lots of pain though. Although if it was an early misscar. it may not have been that painful. Blood clots are normal in periods. Was your period on time or early or late? If it was early or late it may have been an early misscarriage. They happen early because the egg and sperm that made the embryo wasn't correctly formed or stopped forming for unknown reasons. This called a chemical pregnancy, one that was never meant to be no matter what a person does. Most likely it was just a blood clot though.

your period is controlled by hormones that cycle regurlarly, so it is usually pretty predictable to be 4 weeks a part or so. The uterus is shedding the lining that built up normaly each month, and it can be heavy or light depending on your hormones and the lining. If a "glob" of tissue passes, it is just part of this lining and is completely normal. each woman has a different type of period, depending on genetics, hormones, stress and age.

If you are talking about blood tissue then I think thats a blood clot and you will be seeing a lot more of those when you have your period.

You are fine. Period is nothing more that your uterine lining dissolving since pregnancy did not happen. Every month you uterus builds up a lining in anticipation of a pregnancy. When that does not happen you get your period. Just sounds like you are having a heavy period.

Little clots and such tissue are normal- It's just your uterine lining shedding now that your body sees you're not going to be pregnant anytime soon.
