it means more of a come back from the band making a come back after bon scotts death. brian johnson's first cd that was a hit. most people thought that the band wouldnt be successful after bon scott's death but brian johnsons proved many people wrong.

Does it have to mean something? It is a song after all. Maybe that was the best line to rhyme with the next one. No reason to try to read into something that just isn't there.

I think it means that they had came back form death, thier orgingal lead singer was killed in a car accident, it was the first album after the accident, so that where the title and the song came form.

as in the album too? they wrote the album after their lead singer died. they really thought about separating and calling it quits, but decided to get back into things. they just named it "back in black" i guess. the song is one track on that album.
