i'm sorry you're so down, ignore the unhelpful answers you get on here! i've been depressed on and off for a while now and sometimes you just feel so low and don't know what to do. i've been on anti depressants and seen a counsellor but i think the best advice is to take one day at a time and when you reach your lowest ebb do something mundane like read a book or watch a film-something that you can concentrate on that keeps your mind off your problems. however hard it is try and look to the future, whats in the past has gone, and sadly we can't change it but you have everything ahead of you, i hope you will find happiness soon x

Sometimes you can be lost of purpose in your life; and this can be very disheartening. So, one step that can help, is to sit down with pen and paper, and write down all of your goals; what did you want to achieve; and after a time, run down the list and find the ONE thing, that you really want to accomplish. And then, write out the steps it would take to GET there. As you focus on what you can do to make it, you will find that your mood is now in a different tone~ good luck!

what has made you feel down and what have you tried?

try and figure out why you are feeling so bad and resurrect that problem. Maybe from there things will begin to look up.

I was in a similar place recently. It helped me to get out do things I like to do, like going to comedy shows, taking long walks, and reading my favorite books.

Do the things you like to do!

You can also try talking to a therapist. It's definitely worth the cash outlay.
