sounds like you want your child to be made fun of, what is it a cross between you dad and your mom's names, Arthur and Diana? why not just tiana or go backwards on yours with Anaitra. When choosing a name for your child, remember that when they're in school, kids don't need much to find a reason to poke fun, and by giving out goofy names you become an enabler.

I think it's unusual and beautiful. Is it pronounced Art yawna?, or Arte auna?, or Arti anna?

He/She will spend his/her life pronouncing and spelling it for others. I have this problem, thus I chose to name my children simple names. However, my daughter Maggie chose unusual names for my grandchildren because her name is "common." I guess it's a personal decision.

Sounds nice.

Something to think about...
How would you feel, or, how would she feel if someone called her "Artie?" Just wondering about school, the playground, etc.
