Accommodtions are when the classroom is changed to suite the child such as audio/visual aides for the impaired hearing/seeing, wheelchair placement and rules for entering and leaving with the class, an aid in the classroom for the one student,etc. Modification is changing the curriculum so the student can have a chance. Like shortening a test so a dyslexic can finish on time,or reading it to some students,one word answers for some students,etc. Hoope this helps!

You make "accomodations" by "modifying" things necessary for the child to learn. For example, if the accomodation is "modified multiple choice tests" you would achieve this by possibly offering 2 choices instead of 4. Therefor you are modifying the test to accomodate the child. Make sense?
