go to the toy store and get a gift certificate for like 10 bucks that is what I do if I do not know what to get my daughters friends anything on there birthday and they could pick out what they want

Knowing his age would be helpful, but I would suggest making him something he might really like. If you don't have time for that, think about his interests and hobbies. Most boys like baseball...or video games... or even food, like home-made cookies. Candy is always okay, too!
