very few people know how to answer this question. i can tell you that the dadt policy says you can join. you are not allowed to share your sexuality however. also, you must vow not to engage in same sex acts. just don't get caught. also, don't show signs. nobody is allowed to ask somebody else about their sexuality. if you follow the guidelines of the policy, you will be fine. if not, you will face criminal charges for not following policies and orders and will be discharged for fraudulent enlistment. the government spent over twice what they anticipated last year to kick out those who came out or were found out and because of that, they are trying to do away with the policy. however, as long as this country is run by religious republicans, i don't think that will happen until we get a democrat in the White House.

Definitely under the DADT policy, unfortunately. However, they can very well join the military--no question about that. Just don't flaunt your sexuality, or you'll be faced with a mountain of problems which could've easily been avoided.

Bisexuals are more common in the military than homosexuals are. It is much easier for a bisexual to hide his or her orientation than it is for a homosexual, because most bisexuals are already accepted as "straight" in our mostly straight world. Yes, in the end I would say though that bisexuals fall under DADT too.

You can join but you can't say anything or be caught doing anything that would violate the DADTDP policy.
Yes, bi-sexuality does fall under the DADTDP policy.

Why do gays, lesbians and bisexuals feel they have to tell everybody about their private lives? I'm also really put off by "straight" guys who make sure everybody knows how many women they've been with. It's nobody's business but your own, what you do when you want or need private time, nor is it necessary to tell strangers when you were with someone. Such information should be discussed only with close friends, if at all. Otherwise, keep your mouth shut about it.

Bisexuals can join the military as can homosexuals. Bisexuals just can not let on about their homosexual tendencies and can only disclose their "straight" leanings...
