This is going to drive me crazy. I had Cingular add the MEdia Net pay-per-use service to my phone, configured it, and tried everything possible, but I don't have access to MEdia Net. It says Packet Data Connection Unavailable or Connection Not Available. What's going on?

It sounds like the data side of your account is not active. I hate to say it, but you need to call them back and make sure the data plan is active (now, not the next billing cycle). Also you want to make sure that your account also has a pay-per-use text messaging service or better. With Cingular you need to have a text message service in order to use data.
If that is good, then you need to check the data settings in your phone.

I had the same problem before..
I called Cingular.. and they told me that.. Yeah you have to call them 1st to get it activated on your line to have the pay per use media net..
You just don't configure it yourself.. You still have to call.. Mine works fine now! I have pay per use also..

this is what you need to do. call customer care and have them remove the pay per use feature on your account and then add it back on. i work for corporate direct and this is what i would do for you. im more than sure that its nothing that your doing on your part. more than likely it just needs to be configured. thats pretty much a quick fix

contact their customer service dept, They can help you. If you start using it alot remember that its very expensive if you dont have one of there plans for data
