If you have the full headers of an email sent directly from a specific machine, you can tell exactly what machine it was sent from and when it was sent.

Yes, If you look at the source header you can see the originating IP address. It is also possible to spoof the IP address. But if necessary it is possible with support from your Internet provider.

No. Spoofing an address or IP is too easy and common to easily trace it.
