because most of them use the cheapest method availiable to ship the item to conserve money. the shipping rate is what they charge, it is not a guarantee to get a priority mail shipping. third class shipping can take 2-6 weeks sometime. sellers pay a lot of fees to ebay and cut costs wherever they can.

I believe most of the time depending on where some items come from, the seller probably has to wait for items to arrive to their location because they too are buyers and don't always have the items they're selling just sitting around the house.
Even if you use the "Buy It Now" option, you still have to wait until the final day of the auction's end before the seller actually decides to send items out(in some cases, depending on what type of seller they are, some are nice as well and will send your products right away).
Overall with some sellers waiting to receive their products, adds on additional days and again depending on where they are located in accordance to where you're located, that in itself can take close to a week or longer.
Priority Overnight is probably a better option in most cases yet, do you want to take that chance and spend additional monies just for it to "not" arrive the next day???
All in all, we all play the "waiting game" on eBay and most times, even prayer doesn't work.
Happy Waiting!!!

There are a few reasons with each case being different. Although sellers are "supposed" to have inventory in hand when they list the items, not all of them do. There are drop shippers that send directly to the customers for the sellers. There are sellers that accumulate orders and then place orders, wait for delivery and then send out. In the case of PayPal, the sellers do not receive the immediate payments into their bank accounts... the payments go to the PayPal accounts and take 3-5 days to get to the seller bank accounts. Another reason is that the sellers don't want to run to the post office or UPS every day of the week to send out one or two items a day. If you order something that's a rush, specify it to the seller. Otherwise, understand that one of the above cases may be why you are experiencing slow delivery even with a PayPal transaction.

I always ship the next day.
I have been told by other sellers they only ship 1 day a week, like only on friday, because of working a real job so they can't get time off to go the post office every day - or - to save money on gasoline by only driving to the post office once a week.

How does an merchandise come to YOU without adequate postage??? that does no longer make experience, you ought to have paid custom expenditures or something. No Usps mail receives despatched without it being paid, you do not p.c.. up products and pay for postage and the article became getting presented to you....the sender pays for postage, regardless of the quantity or it does no longer get shipped out..they gained't even settle for it....It likely gained't make experience to ebay both, and is likely why they're ignoring you...

B/c most of them are housewives with a room full of crap and are completely unorganized. There is no malice intended, just scatterbrained.
My wife sells jewelry on Ebay and I'm sitting in the middle of a pile of bracelets and rings and such. I don't know how she ever gets anything to the right person.
