I am 13 got my first period! I have no sisters,(two brothers) and no mom,(divorce). I'm too emberassed to ask my dad and my friends didn't get theirs yet so I'm stuck. There are no tampons or pads in the house because theres no other girls in my family. What should i do? Why does it hurt so bad? Why is there so much blood? My nipples feel real hard too. but I think if you write you dad an honest note and let him know that you are embarrassed and would he please just give you some money and take you to the store without bringing up the subject on the way.

It hurts because your body is cramping to get rid of the lining that is inside your uterus. Pain is normal, extreme pain could be a problem. The blood is completely normal and there is so much because your body is simply getting rid of blood and lining from your uterus that it doesn't need because you aren't pregnant. (Thats why pregnant women dont get their period for 9 months). Just tell your dad, thats the only way you're going to get any pads or tampons (i would suggest starting with pads). The nipple thing is normal, my breasts always get tender when i'm on my period, don't worry about that. Just get some pads and take a pain reliever and relax!!

im 15 so i know what your feeling im not just an adult giving you proffesional advice.
i think you can tell your dad .if you cant get yourself to then take some of your own money and buy a pack of pads you should change it in the morning, 2 x during day and before you go to sleep and about the cramps its very normal not everyone gets cramps some get pimples instead but cramps are really painful-its contractions so take tyenol or something

do you have an aunt or maybe a teacher you can talk to about it? you really need to get some feminine products even if you have to tell your dad. i'm sure he is expecting this to happen sometime and will be more understanding than you think. as far as the cramps, you need to get some motrin, it seems to work best for me.

U just use toilet papers for emergency.Dont hesitate to ask ur father, go and inform him and get pads for u.He will definitly do this dont worry be happy

nicely.... many communicate with motorbikes (motorcycles) as Iron horses. i might have a stressful time choosing between a rapid bike and a stay, rapid horse. automobiles are too confining.
