Windex, ammonia or rubbing alcohol will all work well for cleaning diamonds. Rinse with clean water then buff dry with a soft cloth.

soak it in warm water with baking soda.... then after a little while use a soft brush...like a toothbrush and gently scrub..... but no need to worry, diamonds are one of the hardest materials so scrubbing won't scratch it

Sticky tac (the stripes of adhesive you use to stick things to the wall when you don't want to use tape) works really good for rings and earrings.
