I do charity work, and I am not rich at all, but I do own a home & car & have no bills to pay.

I am trying to find a job or career that I would truly enjoy. (otherwise, why bother if you don't HAVE to?)
BTW, I have a good education....I just haven't used it yet.

If you didn't have to work (and I'm not talking not filthy rich, you still have a budget), would you?
What would you do if you could do anything (is it the same thing as your current job?)

I really enjoy cooking and have done it my whole life. Except for the past 6 years. Now I work in a very upper crust part of my state in the school system as a teacher's aide. It is satisfying but at the same time all I deal w/ is a group of spoiled, entitled brats of all ages. If I didn't have to work, I would quit this job and do short order just for fun. Why do I stay? Because the love of my life was born 2 1/2 years ago and I get summers off to raise him.

after I were given out of school, I had 4 opportunities for a occupation a million) end chippie 2) racing engine builder 3) take care of the kin horse farm 4) mushy workplace job even with the way it seems, each and each of the first 3 were accessible i determined that the pony farm will be mine ultimately besides, and there became no want to hurry... #2 would not be as a lot exciting if it became my job, so i began preparation as a end chippie.. Then my horse driving better 0.5 got here upon this job on the business company for me which qualifies as #4. it really is no longer my dream job, even with the undeniable fact that it pays properly adequate that i visit delight in the different 3....

Wow you have what i want...a house a car and no bills...
you have a perfect life....not filthy rich but the major stuff is paid off. I would work even if i won millions of dollars in the morn cos I'm from a family that appreciates everything they have. i.e. working class....... rich people would never understand the satisfaction in buying a sofa....looking and sitting on it and feeling soooo proud they just bought it....
PS I just got a new sofa!!

NO, I wouldn't work anymore. I do not have a dream job. If I had
enough money to not have to work, I might do some volunteer work with the elderly or ill but I do not have a choice at the moment. I would also make a great traveling bum if I had the money to do what I please. I would help some people and family
members out also if I had lots of money.

I would still work - even if I didn't have to. I absolutely love my current job (I'm the business manager of a group of radio stations) and can't see myself doing anything different for many years, but if I were to come across a large sum of many and didn't have to work, I would probably go into business for myself...I would love to travel the world and write about it or photograph the world and sell the pictures...I would need something to keep me busy though...I couldn't just sit around and do nothing all day! :)

I just started working. I didn't really have to, but my children are now both in school. I was feeling a bit useless and bored, so I got a job. It is nice to have a bit of money to buy some little extras at the end of the month.

I would stay home with my kids until they're grown if I could. If I didn't have kids, or little kids, I would want to do something with my time, probably do non-profit work if I could. Maybe start a career that I truely enjoyed (because most that I'd like to explore don't pay much!)

well, I work and I don't. lol I stay home and tend to my 3 kids. hubby and I have agreed thats whats best...I mean if I was to work I would not bring home enough to be worth it after child care...even so I enjoy being home and being able to go to all school activites and be home for them after school.

I don't have to work outside home...and no I am not by NO means filthy rich...if I was to get a job just because...I would say child care, cause I could play, play and spoil the kids all day and then send em home to their mommy and daddys..

nothing is ever enough for all of us, thats why we work, we work , we work....

we work bec we want more, we work bec we are afraid of getting bored, we work bec we want self fulfillment, we work bec we dont want people to think we are worthless and we ourselves want to be useful.

it doesnt matter whether it is charity work, corporate jobs, anything is good enough as long as you enjoy it, as long as u like what u r doing. but sometimes, boredom strikes and u want to trade places with someone else.. or u find the grass greener at the other side of the pastures. The rule is to believe that wherever u r right now, is exactly where u have to be at the moment.

I love my job even though it makes me so poor to work it. I have an education that I don't use, but I don't care about that. If I didn't need to work, I still would, but I probably cut back the hours or take more vacations.
