Slim to none, at least without extensive therapy. (and might I add a ton of will power!)

It often takes a few tries. The physical addiction is gone in 3 days, but the mental and psychological addiction lasts MUCH MUCH longer. Somebody looking to get clean of crack needs a change of scenery and a fresh start on life in a new environment. Good luck!

Depends how its delivered to the body...
I read an article that looked into the chances recovery with different delivery methods of cocaine. Snorting, Smoking, and Injecting. Seemed that if you snorted, the odds were in your favor in trying to quit, however, if you smoke or inject, well, 99% of the participants died before the study was complete.

Actually the odds aren't real good. Depending on how long they have been doing it and how bad they want help are to huge factors. Any addictions are extremely tough and require extreme determination. I would request a real good treatment center and if nothing else you can find really good help in narcotics anonymous. good luck with this one. By the way your talking to a struggling addict.

Good. Eventually you have to quit or die.
So, if you really WANT to quit and can see that it is ruining your life, you can go to the detox center and stay away from the wrong crowd. It's by no means easy and family support is needed.

Good IF the person wants to and go to a professional detox center and complete the program. You cannot quit on your own with good success.

Just exactly how much will power does the individual have to decide to become drug free? Once we know that, then maybe we can answer your question. Someone must be very motivated to quit.

Get professional help, and probably go away for detox for approx. about a month. Then do almost everything in your life different, then you've got a prety good chance. or if you always do what you always did you will always get what you always got.
