Sorry to hear that. If you know his/her name, I would start by calling the Colorado State Patrol:

Adams County Troop Office, 1D
8200 N. Highway 85
Commerce City 80022
303.289.4760
303.289.4905 Fax
303.239.4501 Dispatch

The Denver Police should have information on this matter. It seems to me you could either call Denver Police and give the name and establish that you are family, or you could do a hospital scan or have the hospitals check their ambulance logs on your behalf to help establish where your family member is right now. I would call the Denver Police first because that would be the most direct way to gain access information. If that fails or is not helpful to you, then a hospital scan - calling the various hospitals in the general Denver area (listed somewhere on the Internet, I know) You could enter: "Denver, Colorado, all hospitals," and I'm sure you would come up with a listing of all the hospitals in that area, and with any luck at all this individual unfortunately may have "gone through" one of them. My heart goes out to you in this very upsetting moment of your life, and I hope others will rally around you to help you in your time of extreme need to know, here. Sent with love and deep concern from Chris in South Portland, Maine, U.S.A. (I am 63 years old.)

Is there a possibility that you can get a hold of people that know this person and they will be able to help you find that person's family and they will be able to give you the details. Or you can have your sister do it. This is the only thing that comes to mind, is to contact people that you think knew that person and then it will be a chain on people helping ether you or your sister find this person. All I can say is make phone calls to people, it will be a process, but it may help.

Good luck, and I hope you find the answers you want.

Check to see if there are any Denver newspapers available online that might carry the news or the obit. Look of Denver TV station news also. They often have news online.

You will be in my prayers today...

Can you get through to the hospital?
They at least would be in a better position to tell you who to ask.
