If you mean Batman Begins the reason they used younger actors because it was the story about how Bruce Wayne became Batman when he was a younger man. Therefore they needed younger actors.

why do they keep remaking the SAME MOVIES OVER AGAIN? for the answer, check the median (avg) age of most filmgoers and you'll see why they had to make a new bad news bears and freaky friday and herbie the love bug and the shaggy d.a. --- you don't have to write a whole new story "really," it's proven to be successful in the past (formula), and younger people want to see people their age in the flick so it's easier to imagine it being them, so the new actors can work and keep their name going (lindsay lohan in the examples given) and because they're "current draws" and "hot." did you read between the lines? they all have to do with MONEY for the film industry is first and foremost a business, like everything else. same pap different younger faces, clothes and effects.

Maybe because the other actors were too old or just didn't want to show up, like if they ever made a Spiderman 3, Tobey Maguire would most likely wouldn't be in it since he didn't reall want to act anymore, so they would have to propbably get a new Spiderman actor.

going back to the beginning of batmans existence was a genius idea. christian bale rules. i have waited 16 years after the first batman movie for something as good if not better and it didn't disappoint me. batman forever and batman and robin should never have been made.

the same guys will be too old for the movies. prob'ly there'll be more wrinkles on their faces and using younger guys just seems a more marketable approach. Moreover, a new face wouldnt make as much demands as the old cuz the old guy knows they need him in the movie. New guy screws up, have another round of audition. Its that simple

You know why, because they are morons. No one is going to think these new kids are going to do better than Jack Nicholson, Danny Devito, and Tommy Lee Jones. Heath Ledger as the Joker, come on...

not sure. the sequals are usualy not as good as the original. and when you get some actors stuck in your head as just that one specific character in a movie, it just doesnt seem to be the same person/character to you when you see another movie thats "new" or "add-ons".

they probably weren't asked back, or maybe the executives wanted to go a different route with the casting.
