No, the worst ever in any century. Worst deficit ever, destroyed our standing amongst other nations, attacked the wrong country, stopped scientific research, increased pollution around the world, stole numerous elections, continues to ignore constitutional separation of powers, increases our reliance on fossile fuel, kisses up to the religiously intolerant, claims he gets messages from God...

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or sincere with this question, because George W. Bush is so clearly one of the WORST presidents the U.S. has ever had! :( Never has a president been elected by a smaller margin (and indeed, Gore won the popular vote in 2000). Also, never has a president gone for a long period of time with such a dismally low popularity rating! Also, never has a president made the U.S. more of a laughing stock and shame among the nations. Heck, even a lot of Republicans who once supported him, are now turning away from him. And is it any surprise?

He has been the only president this century. Ask this question in 94 years. The answer will be he was one of the worst presidents of this century, possibly of all time. That is if the world hasn't been burned to a crisp by then.

Though I can't imagine Clinton accomplished much from January 1st through January 20th, 2001, the only period in this century during which any other President but Bush served in office, I would still have to say he was better.
He did not fritter away a big budget surplus with big tax holidays for the rich which resulted in an even bigger deficit in those 20 days. He did not fritter away the good will of almost every nation on Earth following the 9/11 attacks and foster deep hatred for America in many corners of the globe in those 20 days. He did not act like a tough cowboy while hiding behind the biggest military in world (one which he never bothered to serve in when it was his turn) during those 20 days. He did not give billions of dollars in untendered contracts to Halliburton during those 20 days. He did not turn his back on climate change and environmental degradation and also turn his back on the first climate refugees in the world as they fled New Orleans and the biggest storm in American history -- a result of global warming -- in his last 20 days. He did not lie to the world to start a war that had nothing to do with terrorism (except maybe encouraging more of it) during his last three weeks as President.
All of that has to put him way ahead of the chicken-hawk in the oval office who was born on third base and still thinks he hit a triple, even if all Bill accomplished during those last few days was to tail every last female within a hundred yards of the White House on his way out the door.

No I don't... because somehow he managed to take a time where we where victims of a terrible tragedy and we were loved by much of the world, and turn us into a country almost the whole world hates.
He's taken away our freedom, made us look like fools, and Made life Miserable for those of us who once proudly served in the military by increasing our deployments while Cutting back our funding at the same time!
Dare I say he's the worst president since Nixon?
The best president of the century was Bill Clinton... not only did he run the economy well, make the world love us, but he was a total Pimp!

That distinction goes to Ronald Reagan. His economic policies led to the longest peacetime boom in hisory. His foreign policies led to the downfall of the Soviet Union and the end of the Cold War.
George W. Bush has been strong on national defense with the glaring exception of border protection and too much spending (almost like a Democrat).
Since the Democrats and limo-liberals hate him so much, he must be doing something right.
Truman, FDR and Kennedy would round out my top five except for Roosevelt's Internment camps. Kennedy got us to the moon and prevented a war in 1962 and Truman ended WWII. Using nukes then is one of the reasons they haven't been used since.

He is ignorant, uninformed, close minded and a member of a dangerous sect. The shrub tops even Reagan for idiotic actions and beliefs. Frankly I think that Old Ron's mental ability slipped a lot sooner then we thought. At least Ron had mental abilities to loose.

Bush is mediocre at best. Strong on the defense , taxation, and foriegn policy fronts. Sh!tty on spending. Average in many other areas. Clinton was no better nor worse.

Well, our choices for this century are Bush or Clinton...
Clinton left in 2001....which is part of this century. Bush is still around....
I would say Clinton was better, given the choice between the two.

hell no. he is sending all our men and women to their deaths in Iraq. He's making life for the poor even harder, and making it impossible for the poor to get government help. On top of that, he's letting all these damned illegals come into the country and get government help and taking all the good paying jobs even tho they dont speak or understand a lick of english. they also get cheap housing when they dont need it because they have 4 and 5 different families living in the housing and all of them have alot of money.
