I think boot camp changes a lot of young guys, makes them tougher and they try to extent what they see and what they are taught in a relationship. XXXXXXXX

I do not like to talk down about anyone. Anyone in the military is only human and portraying what they have seen or experienced in life. My ex was in the army. He was a sweetheart and part of me still loves him, but he was not ready for a relationship. Age does not matter much either. My sperm donor is 53 and treats his new wife as a maid dominating everything she does. My thoughts are it depends on the person's background. What you need to do is get to know a person. Guys, like women, have their good points and bad. Good luck

Military men tend to be more rigid and dominant. That just comes from training, I think it is not always a bad thing but they also need to be more flexible. And it doesn't really matter what age they are.

They are trained to be leaders so they tend to pick their behavior up from being in the military. Self-confidence is a must but it gets outta control
