I know it's been several years since I graduated from High School, but that's where I always found the answers. Either there or my notes from class.

Sorry, mom in me coming out. My kids seem to find their answers there too.

My kids research on the computer too, they know where to go... not places like these, they are blocked from them. I also know how to use the computer to research stuff.

I agree. I have been coming to this website for a few weeks and all of a sudden I saw a category called "Homework Help." I was shocked! lol im a junior in high school and I dont think this is good, to easy to cheat. I just looked at one of the answers for math and the guy even gave a full proof for the problem! Yahoo should take out this category lol

My kids would come home with textbooks but the answers aren't there..believe it or not. It is usually the math work that they have problems with and it doesn't show (in the textbooks) how the work is done..that's because it is learned in class and they want the kids to know it from there and solve it at home. Sometimes my kids would come to be for help, and I am no mathematician, and I would go on websites to find out how a math problem is solved, step by step. I know they should pay more attention in class but you get some kids who are distracting the whole class and they miss the lesson. That could be it, too!

You know what I do? The ones that ask in some sort of intelligent manner, with words spelled correctly and some attempt at puncuation...those I answer correctly, if I know. The rest, I feed a bunch of plausible BS. As the guy said in Caddy Shack: "The world needs ditch diggers, too."

There is such a wide wealth of research info on the computer and search sites that more is available to students to expand their minds and which cannot be covered in the classroom...you are older and the computer is new and wide open to ideas, thoughts and answers..sorry you are stuck in a time warp!!!!

I noticed too that there were a lot of homework questions tonight. I used to wait until Sunday night to get mine done too.

They tell their mom's that they need to use the computer to do their homework so they get more screen time to myspace and IM. Little lazy liars.

At least I am learning. I have to go back in time to remember how to help these kids. It's preparing me for when I have mine. Hopefully I will help them myself, though, instead of them asking strangers.

I usually give them answers that sound good, but are wrong. That way when they find out, they will learn to do the work themselves.

Yes, they are looking in their textbooks.. or maybe they have no textbooks so they are asking this time..
or maybe they cannot found the answers in the internet so they are asking questions..
