Their would not have been the training camps on the West bank and other countries which were run by Russia, China and other non-Islamic countries. Their probably not have had the start of state sponsored terrorism in the Middle East so we would not see any of the re surged deeps seated hatred drive the Middle Eastern Islamics to hatred of an easy to identify State.
On the whole I think if these initial events did not develop the way it did we would all be better off.
