For some people they listen to rap because what some of the rappers rap about is related to their life or for some they listen to the words so they understand what rappers go through orwhat they use to go through not all raps concern in calling girls by their names and killing people because they mean mug

1. the rhythm
2. you can actually dance to it
3. you can always find somebody worth listening to...it isn't all the same. You know, just like all black people don't look the same?!!!!
4. watch the really great hip-hop dancers out there..they all agree with me. It's really tough to move like that!

Some of it truly has feeling and emotion, along with nice melodic hooks. A lot of it is pure garbage though.
