I just joined today and all of sudden this website says I have reached my daily limit for answering questions? I could answer questions all night long. Why did it stop me? thanks

Because you're still at level one.
When you reach level 2 (at 250 points), your daily quota of allotable answers will be increased.
This is in place since some people are "fly bys", and write nonsense just to get points, and are not really answering to help others, hence the limit on new users.
Those who really care, and provide thoughtful answers, gain points quickly by having their answers selected as "Best", thereby earning 10 points for each.

Since you just joined, you're at "level 1", which only entitles you to give 20 answers and ask 5 questions per day. As you increase your points, you reach higher levels, and can ask/answer more questions.

You will be able to answer more questions tomorrow. In the meantime, you can vote for best answers for questions that are in voting, which will get you extra points. When you hit level 2 you will be able to answer more questions. See the link below for information on points and levels.

It's because when you start you can only ask 20 questions. (I know it's retatred, I was mad, too)When you reach level 6 you have unlimited questions and answers. But that takes a while. :-/

u have a limit to answer questions where it says ur name and how many points click on ur name and it will say lea's points click on that it will tell u how many times u can ask question and answer tomorrow u can ask more

Because you are a newbie and you aren't experienced enough to make reliable answers.
Only after you've proven yourself worthy will they let you answer more.
