I have been going for ultrasounds the past three weeks everytime I go the baby's heartbeat is still slow. Is that normal? And do you think I'm heading for a miscarriage?

I had one of my ultra sounds twice in one week because I was spotting brown blood. Plus they keep changing how many weeks pregnant I am. I had IVF procedure.

my doctor didn't even listen for the heartbeat that early with either of my kids, they said it was too hard to hear and that an internal ultrasound was a better way to check, with my second child they just measured my belly until i was 2 months, maybe even 3 i cant really remember.

I believe you may have some misinformation here or are trying to give us misinformation. A baby's heartbeat begins at 22 days after conception. The heart at this age is too small to hear, but may be able to be seen as a tiny flickering on an ultrasound screen. Early ultrasounds, at 7-9 weeks, can be done, but aren't always reliable as the baby is only about an inch long. It is unlikely to be able to determine the speed of the heartbeat while the baby is this little. Why would you have to go for an ultrasound 3 weeks in a row?

I had an ultrasound at about 8 weeks and they were able to see the heartbeat. Didn't give me specifics on the heart rate though. I imagine that if the tech nor the Dr. mentioned it you shouldn't worry. The Dr. couldn't actually pick up the heart beat with his doppler until I was 10 weeks pregnant. If you're still concerned discuss it with your Dr.

if there turned right into a situation with the newborn or the being pregnant, the Ultrasound Technition might want to have suggested that you said a health practitioner once conceivable. they are not docs so they couldn't inform you definately that there is something incorrect.. yet they could have stated something alongside the traces of 'and there is your babies heart beat- 113bpm- thats somewhat low/thats an effective good heart beat/thats wide-spread for a touch one this more suitable' in case your worried (it truly is totally wide-spread not only for first pregnancies)- call the antenatal health middle the position you're booked in/your obstetrition/your health practitioner.. if not something else, it truly is going to positioned your concepts comfortable.

You can't really hear the heartbeat until about 12 weeks, that has to be your heartbeat that you are hearing.
