Since last year I dieted and worked out (but not much). My friends say I shouldn't flaunt it. But it was not that easy. I don't want to lose my friends. I like having new clothes.

yes you should. That is more like a celebration than a flaunt.

losing weight and keeping it off is not easy!! You have every right to be proud of yourself. Just be yourself. By why not flaunt it. You worked hard to get where you are. Don't be a snob, but don't put yourself down. Dress the way you want too. Buy yourself some pretty new things. I know how you feel. I have lost a great deal of weight myself. It feels so good!!! You go girl!!!

Depends on what you mean by flaunt it. Should you buy clothes that fit you and that make you feel good...yes. Should you brag about all of the weight you've lost all of the time to people who might be struggling to do the same thing...probably not if you want to keep your friends. I suggest finding some people to work out with whom you can share your weight goals and successes with.

I think it is ok to feel good about yourself and congratulations on your weight loss. You could buy a few new outfits to celebrate. It takes a lot of hard work and dicipline to accomplish.

I don't think it should be the start of every conversation you start. You shouldn't change the person who you are. You could use your weight loss to encourage others and give them hope. Inspire others.

Flaunting is not what I would do. People will see you and respond to the person who you are. Your friends are your friends for life. Take care.

Congratlions on losing 55 pounds. You should feel proud of yourself for doing that. If you feel good about yourself, the way you look and act, then go ahead and do what makes you comfortable. If your friends can't accept you as you are then I guess they are not real friends. Maybe they feel jealous of you. Try talking to them first and see what they say. If they can't accept you then it is time to move on. Keep up the good work on keeping yourself fit. Just remember not to let the bad habits of overeating and such make their way back.

If you are proud of your body.. then flaunt it. You worked hard to get to the point you are now... so enjoy yourself. I am proud of you and wish I could do the same. Good luck.

Maybe your friends are trying to help you out by advising you that you still don't look good enough to be flaunting anything.

That is one hot picture. As long as you do not criticize your friends, it is THEIR problem how they choose to interpret how you dress now. Flaunt it if you like to! Congrats on your divorce and new self. Enjoy your new life!!!
