i would recommend that you look on the bottle and make sure you get eau de prafum and not eau de toilette. Also if you smell a nice perfume on someone else, don't be afraid to ask them what it is. they may be flattered. And yes stick to more expensive better quality perfumes. It is just a guide, but a 40 quid bottle is more likely to last than a 10 quid one.

The more expensive perfumes have the greatest concentration of fragrance. If you can afford them, I'd look in the department stores' cosmetic departments. They usually carry the top brands of perfumes, but expect to pay between $40 and $50, and sometimes even more. The drug store versions are much less, usually around $15-20 per bottle, but they are more diluted and the scent wears off quicker.

Let me say, however, that your sense of smell also wears off after a while, and even though you can't smell the perfume on yourself, doesn't mean that others can't. You don't want to have a scent so strong that it lingers ten minutes after you've left the room. Some people are allergic to strong perfumes.

The best way to choose a scent is to try one on your wrist. Wait a few minutes to let the scent diffuse. I can't recommend any particular fragrance, since it's a matter of taste. You're the best judge of what you like. Good luck!

All perfumes differ greatly. Some of the fragrances used in a perfume compound will have what is called a 'low tenacity' which means they fade quickly. Others have a 'high tenacity', Patchouli being a notable. Many perfumes also have a high alcohol to base ratio, and that means they will fade quicker. Lastly, your own body chemistry will make a difference, the same perfume can smell different on two different people owing to skin pH, moisture etc... You need to buy the high quality perfumes that have a low alcohol content, such as absolutes and concrete bases. Cheaper eau de toilette will fade-out more quickly. Alkso, experiment with different fragrances, your body chemistry will make some endure, and knock-out others. It's a learning curve.

It's in the oil that is used. Real perfume uses real products & grind the pure products for there oils. Many of the cheaper brands do not use pure oils but synthetic copies. Thus it does not last long after it is airborne. Paris Hilton has a nice sweet smell. Remember to spray in the air directly in front of you & immediately step into it. That is the right way to use perfume

You can buy a French perfume at the Mall and it runs about $80.00 a bottle and it only takes a dab, but it will make some hearts pump during the foreplay.
I had brought back a sample of the perfume in those tiny bottles and gave it to my son and he put some on when he was in High School and If i had some to sale, I could of sold it....it comes in bottles for Males and Females....it's super tight stuff!!

honey, some times you think you can't smell anything from a perfume, but that's OK, is just you, that means that the perfume is getting long with you, when you smells the perfume all the time means that perfume its not good for you.

They don't wear off, you just get accustomed to the smell. They say if you can smell your own perfume, you've got too much on.

most that are roses smells or lavender- a great one that Avon used to see was clled BREATHLESS- Not sure if they just changed the name or what- but I had a guy to whom i was intimaite with and he said that he smelled me in his room for over a week after I left. That is an impression if you want to make one. Also spray in your brush then comb your hair- spray between your thieghs and on your wrists and the back of your neck.

I don't know but I switched to body lotion or body "creme" instead of spray and not only is it more subtle and less offensive but it lingers softly all day and I always get so many compliments. The spray is obnoxious when you first put it on and then it is gone there doesn't seem to be any in between.and it lasts all day. I personally choose Samsara body creme as the best. Samsara body lotion 2ND choice. Expensive but you can get it cheaper on eBay.
