I KNOW I'm not alone when I say I like Heavy Metal AND Classical music. Anyone else out there feel the same? Would you say you prefer metal, classical, both, or none?

Just bought the double disc Iron Maiden greatest hits cd. It rocks. The clasics are so under-appreciated

Heavy Metal and Classical music go together! Most of the metal's finest musicians were either classically trained, or influenced by classical music.
Great examples of classical music with metal, Yngwie Malmsteem, Nightwish, Stratovarious, Savatage. I don't know if you've heard of any of these bands, but you should check them out! Yngwie Malmsteem with the Japanese Philharmonic Orchestra is phenomenal!
I enjoy my metal more than classical music, but I do enjoy both!

I love all sorts of music, and yes heavy metal and classic rock are some of those.

metal and classical share a lot stylistically. Chromatic melodies, dramatic and bombastic arrangements, etc. There is also the "taking things a little too seriously" vibe that both give off. Check out Apocalyptica if you like classical metal.

I like both too. Classical piano music is one of my favorites to listen to.... but I also really enjoy Classical Rock.... Blue Oyster Cult, Kansas, Boston, Grand Funk Railroad, Yes, Pink Floyd......

i like a lot of different music i consider classic rock my main music i also like classical like Bach and Beethoven and everything in between
