Ok, its been hecka months since my last period, like try the middle of March. I was prematural at birth by five days and thats what the doctors think causes a late period. But its normal for me to rarely get them and to have easy and quick ones when I do get them..Any thoughts?

If a doctor is telling you that since you were born 5 days early, that is why you have an irregular period, you need to find a new doctor. That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.

If you're a teen, and you've never had a regular monthly period, chances are your body is still working that out. Give it time and it will straighten out.

Hunny let me tell you what. I started mine when I was 11. They were always late. THen they stopped at 17. Went to this doctor and that doctor they said I was fine. 10 years later, I was diagnosed with PCOS, polycystic ovary syndrone. Please mention that to your doctor. It doesn't matter when you were born. This disease affects a lot of us. If you need more info, feel free to e-mail me. Since I've been diagnosed, I've read SO much.
