Honey, your question is racist. Flip through the channels just one more time. Notice anything? The predominant race featured on television is white. Not only that, but BET was founded by black people. There was no CET founded by white people. When TV first came out and for many many years thereafter, there were NO BALCK PEOPLE ON TV!!! NOT ONE! I have no clue as to where you live, but if you do live on planet Earth in a country called USA, you may have perhaps noticed that 95% of TV entertainment is Caucasian oriented. They maybe 50% of the population but 99% of decision makers are white. It is a White Entertainment World, hence they do not need a redundant channel call WET (White Ent Television).

BTW some moron replied that BET is white owned. It's NOT, The Johnsons in DC founded and control it and they are Black.

I would have to agree with most of answer. Most of channel have no black content, and most of the black shows are token shows. So I would say it not racist. What would you call BET then? Afro-American Entertainment Channel?

because of cultural differences....doesn't have so much to do with race..... have you noticed eminem has been played on BET and he is obviously not black and white is not a race.....most white people are made up of a whole bunch of different heritages......but on that note I think they should have italian music channel a japanese music ,,, indian music channel etc.....but i am a little upset that MTV is starting to appeal to only people who like rap and stuff....it should appeal to all people....same with VH1
