The Cosby's were a black sitcom family. Family's tend to look alike. I think that was the affect the producers were looking for. There were also many characters that were of other races and nationalities. These people were not portrayed as being related to the Cosby's so they could or could not be black.

Actually Rudy had a friend when she was young that was a white boy. The show does not seem racist to me. They also had guest stars on the Cosby Show such as Adam Sandler who was Theo's friend in the earlier shows.

Many of the Cosbys friends were white or asian or hispanic. The Cosby show was probably one of the most racially diverse family sitcoms around. It was the story of a well adjusted black family so of course most of the cast will be black. Grow up please and relax.

hmmm, I never once saw a black person on Dukes of Hazard or Knight Rider or Baywatch for that matter, I am trying to think of a few other predominitely white actor shows but the whole point of it all seems kind of irrelevant now, anyways this is the best you can come up with for a question?, no it isn't racist, but your opinion seems kind of like it is

um excuse me but it was all over tv and the papers that YES the cosby show or should I say Bill is Racist....he portrayed all white people like Rudy's friend as fat little white kids, I also have friends that worked on the set, who claim that he was very racist, and I love lucy uh duh what do you think Desi Arnaz was? (your an idiot) cuz hes Cuban which makes the children half Cuban.

Racism DOES happen on ALL spectrums....
