I've always found that the cheaper and more widely produced the boot, the wider the leg part. I am thin, and the boots sold in retailers like Target or Kmart are often really large in the leg. Some boots are made with stretchy fabric as the top instead of leather, so I imagine that that type may fit better. Department store brands are mostly medium sized, and really expensive boots are often meant only for thin legs. Good luck!

The Avenue is similar to Lane Bryant. I used to work there and they carried big boots. You might can order from them online or get a catalog from the store if you have one local.

I would imagine Lane Bryant and The Avenue carry boots for plus sized women since they have shoes and clothes for that specialty.

It somewhat relies upon what you place on it with. i think of denims with a boot as much as the knee might look beautiful. consistent with danger in case you place the boot ontop of the denims. I dont somewhat comprehend what you mean by skill of boots tucked into the jean. yet i think of boots that are greater than the knee consistent with danger you will possibly desire to steer sparkling from.

Girl, I am right there with you! Roman's carries extended calf boots, but they look cheap mee-ma-ish (old lady) to me. I've heard from friends that you go places like NY or Atlanta, GA to these type items. Good luck! If you find out something, let us know!

See if you can find a shoe repair store or cobbler in your area. Good luck!
