Interesting question. Even though they were contemporaries of each other, they usually don't get compared to one another. They each were quite dynamic in the spectrum of music that they could perform. Both Zep and Queen's albums were never one-note affairs. You could find a wide variety of textures and sounds on them.
You could go either way and not be wrong. But, I suppose since the question is out there, I would lean towards Zeppelin...but not by a lot.

I know you love Queen, but sorry as the heaviest blues-rock band of all time and me being a blues rock guitarist, I have to go with Led Zeppelin on this one.

Led of course.
People all you have to ask your self is how many Queen songs can I name compared to Led songs. If you know more Led songs which is probably the case then doesnt that explain everything.

Queen, no doubt. Freddie Mercury had one of the best voices in rock music of all time.

Queen. Mercury rocked, and they had more originality than Led Zepplin. (you know that if you know music history)
