After she was dead, he killed himself. Does that change your answer?
I truly believe he took these actions because the wife was suffering with a terminal illness and because he loved her so much, he did not want to live without her.
Some people say she may be in heaven, but he is definitely in hell.
I hope that God examines the intent of a person before passing judgment. I want to think they are together as they wanted to be.

NO,God is a merciful God and knows the reason for all things and the purpose it holds for all people.They are now happy together for eternity.

You know you answer your own question. He might be in heaven with her. God can pardon you until your last breath. I do believe that God does examines the intent of a person before passing judgment. Remember before you enter the heavens you have to be received by God.

He is not "definitely" in hell. No one knows that. Come on.
Hell only exists in the mind of the living. If he didn't want to live after his assist, I can understand that.

It isn't for me to say, but I believe God judges what was in his heart, which only He knows.

there was no evil in their actions, i think they were in a terrible situation and although i do not believe in religion, i believe that if god exists, he would accept them both after witnessing their turmoil.

I believe God is not as judgemental and suspicious as we human beings are ...he knows what is in our hearts!!!!!
