Genes are behind all this but as 4 hair growing more rapidly tis a grandmothers tale passed down generations. Maybe it started coz when a person cuts his hair regularly he pays more attention 2 it, So he thinks that his hair is growing faster.

Mostly hair growth is related to aggression and feamily genes. It is a myth that hair grows rapidly if you cut it. It would grow the same length in the same period of time if you left it alone

Hair, technically, does not grow faster with regular cutting. It does, however, look healthier and retain its length for the following reasons:
Hair grows from the root: the closer to your skull, the younger.
The ends of your hair tend to get split and damaged.
Split and damaged hair breaks more easily.
Thus, regularly removing the damaged tips allows the entire strand of hair to retain its length and remain healthy for longer.

Hair growing back quicker when cut is a myth. It just seems that way.
Different hair color is genetic.

i think thats a myth.
if it isnt, i can only attribute the rapid growth to stimulation. the more you cut the more you stimulate.
