Mostly hair growth is related to aggression and feamily genes. It is a myth that hair grows rapidly if you cut it. It would grow the same length in the same period of time if you left it alone

Hair, technically, does not grow faster with regular cutting. It does, however, look healthier and retain its length for the following reasons:

Hair grows from the root: the closer to your skull, the younger.
The ends of your hair tend to get split and damaged.
Split and damaged hair breaks more easily.

Thus, regularly removing the damaged tips allows the entire strand of hair to retain its length and remain healthy for longer.

Hair growing back quicker when cut is a myth. It just seems that way.
