In my opinion sweepstakes are big scams...My mom spent over 120,000 on sweepstakes over a 2 yr period and has nothing to show for it but little trinkets that you could buy from the dollar store. These places like to scam little old women...promising them fortunes and taking their lifesavings with them. Leaving them in financial ruins.

Every time you enter a sweepstakes, your odds of winning are the same as everybody elses. You increase your odds if you enter every sweepstakes under the sun though because you have your name in so many... but... still the same odds to win as everyone else. Funny how a lot of times sweepstakes are won by people who just entered that one and maybe only buy 1 sweepstakes ticket and aren't in any other sweepstakes.

A couple of million, I'd guess. Sweepstakes are like lotteries in that there is a microscopic chance of winning anything.
