I might be pregnant, and possibly could have gotten pregnant off of the pill. I've been on 3 different kinds of bc for 3 years now. For the past 6 or 7 months i've been on Cyclessa. I've heard of a lot of women getting pregnant off of bc pills especially ortho-trycyclen Low. I am just wondering if any of you ladies have gotten pregnant off of the pill? ANd.....if you were on the pill and thought you were pregnant, and weren't...how long did it take for your period to regulate after getting back on it? And IF YOU WERE-on the PILL AND DID GET PREGGERS...how soon did it take to find out on a hpt or blood test that you were pregnant? Thanks

I've gotten pregnant 4 times on BC. 4 different kinds of BC! LOL
I knew as soon as the morning sickness hit me at 3am
With my first, I didn't know for 4 months though. You can take a blood test within 3 days of conception.

I was taking bc, though I don't remember the brand. I skipped some pills but didn't think anything of it. The reason I said that was because I had spoken to my gyn about trying to conceive. He said that since I had been taken bc for a long period of time it would take like 3-4 months for my body to wene off the pills, in order for me to get pregnant. I can tell you that is a lie. I was in school, stressing about this one class. My period was 1 month late. I have irregular periods, so once again, I thought that is was just late. My boyfriend brought a pregnacy test and it came out negative. I told him that I would wait a week, and then if nothing I would go to the doc. I ended up going to the doc and finding out that I was pregnant.

if you think youre pregnet then stop taking the pill and get tested....regarding people getting pregnet on the pill the chances are very very low if you have taken it correctly and followed all instructions of any other medications you may have been on in the month.........to get pregnet you either forgot to take it at some stage and didnt use other precautions, or you were very ill during the month and didnt use another form of protection, or you took medication that stopped the pill from working during the month and didnt take any other precaution........so basically if you didnt follow all the instructions for use of the pill then you could be pregnet.

i got pregnant 2 months off ortho-trycyclen Low. It was okay thou we wanted another my kids are 10 and 8 i'm 21 weeks pregnant.

Well heres a riddle for i was conceived while my mother was using a diapragm and my kid brother was conceived while she was on the pill and my sister was conceived in a drunkin stupor and my dad swears he pulled out so which one was still born yep you guessed it the sister um this is no joke sorry they 99.9 for areason and by the way if you got prego on the pill quit smoking and dont sit still for more than to hours if u plan to keep takin it srry hun or is it congrats or somthin

You keep saying getting pregnant "off of the pill."
Do you mean getting pregnant while you're taking the pill? Or while you're NOT taking birth control.
I'm confused.
