**The kids start back to school Aug 25th, Fri. They only go 1/2 a day. We
were thinking that it would be cool to pick them all up from school Just wanted to see if you would let me pick up (2 year old daughter)from daycare that
Friday
morning around 8:30 so that she could go with us. This would be a surprise
to my kids and Joe, . PLEASE do not mention it to Joe. Please don't spoil the surprise.***

What would you do or say in this situation?

It is not like you are letting her spend the weekend with
just me.. I really dont understand it. But i am mad with you, just
disappointed. I was really looking forward to it.
Please dont mention it to Joe. I dont want him to be upset about it

Do not get sucked into this line of behavior. I would not trust her. I would not discuss this with her via email. She sounds devious. Ignore her emails

I would tell her straight out, Hey I have never met you. Tell her you would rather get to know her first, how about we go have lunch one day or something, with your daughter.

She's just being a pain...if she refuses to meet you then maybe you guys should consider taking her to court.
