sometimes my boyfriends penis has a terrible odour, I don't know how to tell him! it smells fishy and quite strong sometimes. He is a very clean person he showers a lot but is not circumsized. I sometimes have to make a excuses not to go down on him. I don't wanna hurt his feelings but it's not nice!! I don't understand how he can't smell it. Are there any products I can buy for him to combat this? maybe I can disguise it in his regular shower bottle, I know it sounds childish but he is so lovely I don't want to hurt his feelings.

Guys and girls occassionally get that fishy smell.... and not notice it!!!! Most of the time that fishy smell indicates some sort of infection.

My advice is see if he washes his manhood thoroughly!!! Make sure he cleans inside the best he can!!!! Take a bath or shower with him, and have a good time and 'clean each other'.

Good luck.... if all else fails... then it may be best to talk to him about it.

Your a cool girl for putting up with it, but it shouldnt hurt his feelings, not if health issues are involved.

Also, being uncircumsised is not as bad as people think. However, you do need to take a bit more care in washing it properly. Apart from that... there shouldnt be any problems.

Good luck!!!

You need to just tell him, it'd be mean NOT to tell him. It really isn't a big deal and I'm sure he wouldn't be offended. He may be clean overall, but perhaps he doesn't pull back his foreskin and wash the area underneathe with water and soap. Not everyone knows to clean the area like that, but that almost always solves the issue, but some people develop the smell more often than others. In that case it just needs washing more often, and perhaps pulling back the foreskin when peeing - that does help. You could ask him to take a shower and wash the area properly before sex or offer to clean it for him or something. I'm sure if you offer to wash that area for him he won't say no.

Wow really the best way to tackle this is to tell him. Everyman knows that an uncircumcised penis does hold smell. When he was in school i sure he heard about it. Most men are consciences about it and others are oblivious. Chances are that he has all ready heard this from another woman and he wont be offended by this, maybe a little embarrassed that he hasn't kept up with it. So just tell him in a coy way, or strait forward. This is your best chance, because if you just switch his shampoo he might not even use it any differently than normal. Good luck!

Some men are very sensitive about this subject. Even if a man showers all the time, he must take care to clean under his foreskin.
Normally, just regular soap and water will take care of this. You should tell him very honestly that this bothers you and it is something he needs to address and be considerate of you. What you can do is get a "flavored" wipe and when you are ready to do your thing, pull back the foreskin and clean it. I am certain if he reciprocates on you, he would be upset if you were not as clean as you could be.

Ohhhhhh man. You're a really good person for putting up with that. That's such a sensitive subject to bring up. Suggest showering together so when you get out it's nice and clean. I know this isn't practical for every single time you get intimate, but it could help. Maybe after a shower together you can point out how much different smelling it is. Say that the smell of his soap really turns you on...Good luck. This is a tough one.

Semen can sometimes cause a fish odor, but so can lack of proper education in good hygiene. They go hand in hand, actually. Try taking a shower with him and paying special attention to the glans. Pull the skin back and clean the glans and the foreskin. Afterwards you can perform oral sex on him with wild abandon and no fear of an obnoxious odor or taste. He should eventually get the hint.

Good luck!

I would say he`s not cleaning his penis under the skin when showering. He should pull back the skin and wash his penis head also. Maybe you could take a shower together and wash it for him. If he cleans it as he should, It`ll not stink.

I'm afraid you have to be straight with him. He maybe hasn't been taught to roll back the foreskin and wash thoroughly. It isn't just the smell ... that merely indicates a lack of hygiene and you don't need a mouth infection!

If you are honest and caring of him, he won't be offended ... maybe a little shameful but he'll get over it.

Fishy odors in the genital region usually indicate a type of infection. You need to just be honest with him and tell him to get checked out. Spraying scented things on it will not help if it is indeed some type of infection. Uncircumcised penises tend to be more prone to infection anyways.

You've just got to be honest, i tell my other half all the time if he stinks, there's nothing we dont discuss and it really works, ok its a sensitive matter but if you cant talk to each other about the important things whats the point in talking full stop ?
