I think one of the car rental companies like Enterprise. I bought a Corolla a few years ago from them and the car only had 25,000 miles was a good price and still under warrantly. Compare what they are asking to the Black Book value or Kelly Blue Book. Ask for the print out of the Carfax report from the dealer too. It will even show little things about the vehicle like when the tires were changed,

Well, first I would find a copy of Consumer Reports autos rated issue for used cars. Or I could save you the trouble. Honda or Toyota. From there, go to Ebay and find one close to you. Look for positive feedback. Go look at it and bring someone with you who knows about cars and can give it the quick once-over. AutoTrader is another option. Get it on Thurday evenings when the new one first comes out. Or try Craigslist.com as well. Good luck.
