Because some of us actually care about answering the questions, with real meaning behind our answers, but some people just like to give people rubbish answers. they never put a thought into and give people a little abuse a long the way, because they feel all clever when they have insulted you and got 2 points for doing it!

I personally hate when people do that, I have seen it many times, and it is really annoying, the 2 points arent the point, what use are they to them anyway, when clearly they have very little to contribute, why are they using yahoo answers at all?

I never do that to people it is disrespectful, annoying and a total waste of time.

Hard as it is to ignore them, try to focus on the members of us who actually do have something to give, there is allways a few idiots somewhere, school, work, just outside and yes even here unfortunately, it is just a fact of life someone will behave like a fool.

Don't let them get you bothered ,they don't deserve the satisfaction.

Warmest Regards Armand

That's such a shame for you. I've only really been using Yahoo Answers for the past few days and have been having a great experience and no abusive answers.

I have seen some and they are a bunch of toss**** who don't deserve your time of day, or the points they are after. You are bigger than that and I know that you will not allow these idiots to get to you.

I posted a lighthearted, silly sort of question once.
One reply was "u ****"!
I thought it was hilarious and gave the writer the 10 points.
So don't take things so seriously, learn to laugh at (or ignore)! any abuse.

Because there are some people who really want to help. And then there's the others. Who just think it fun. In a case like you have to take to good with the bad. That's why your the one to choose you helped you the most.

Questions can often be abusive, offensive and obscene at the same time.
What else would you expect but abuse from those same people when they are trying to get enough points together to ask more stupid questions?

Because most people are stupid and incapable of understanding the effects of their words and actions beyond the scope of text on a screen.

It happens everytime, it's the old saying, there has to be at least one in every crowd. Try to ignore the abusive and rude people and focus on the answers that you think might help you... I cracked up at Jeff's answer... I Love you honey.. lololll

Take what you need and leave the rest.

If you ask questions about religion, hot political topics, questions that may be percieived as racist or liberal anything that people are passionate about, you are bound to get some abusive answers. You will also get abusive answers if you can't spell (use spell check) or your questions don't make sense.

Yes, there are some really stupid people on this site, and you do not deserve to be abused. Having said that, if I am abused ,I will make sure they get a load back .
