it'll just start drying up and getting smaller and smaller. i reccomend either getting prescribed "prednisone" or going to a pharmacy and getting something called "ivy-dry," it works wonders and u can get it over the counter.

RE:
What are some signs that my poison Ivy is clearing up?
I have huge blisters on my arm, and clusters of small weeping blisters on my knees. Is that a bad sign. What should I look for to tell if my poison ivy rashes are clearing up?

When I lived in MD I got poison ivy so bad every single year - I feel your pain man. Believe it or not oozing is just a stage of the stuff, though this is when it's trying to infect more of your skin. Keep tabs on it by applying (I'm sure you've done this already) Calamine lotion or oatmeal baths etc. etc. and keep the oozing to a min.
When the oozing subsides and/or stops, you'll see the blisters begin to dry up and eventually flake away like dry skin. Your on the road to recovery at that point.
Take it easy out there!

The oozing will stop and the blisters heal up. An for the record the oozing is ur bodies own discharge and does not contain urushiol (the oil that causes the rash). Urushiol bonds to ur skin when u come in contact with the plant. Use a baking soda paste, gauze, band aids or rubbing alcohol to soak or dry up the ooze. Don't scratch. Go buy Ivy Dry, come in brown spray bottle. Helps to ease the itching and stop the oozing cuz it pulls the urushiol from ur skin

Less itching, that might be a sign the poison ivy is clearing up.

Well ..... it begins to clear up. Kinda difficult to make it any more plain than that. The huge blisters begin to fade, as do the clusters of small weeping blisters on your knees, the swelling goes down, the itching fades, and you become aware of a growing instinct for avoiding the stuff in the future.

Your first sign that it is clearing up is that it will gradually stop itching, then the sores will dry up. Try as hard as you can not to itch it because the weeping sores can spread it more places on your body.

Why suffer. I went to a Doc. He gave me some kind of Allegra. The next day, no more itching. Rash virtually gone. Second day, gone completely.
