it's the process a female's body goes thru each month when an egg is released. Every 28 days or so, the ovaries will produce an egg - it travels down the fallopian tubes and if it is not fertilizied by sperm, it will not stick to the uternie wall. The "period" is basically the uterine wall shedding itself - the whole process is called menstration. Hope that helps.

The woman has eggs in her body when they are born. The ovary will release an egg monthly.
Before the egg is released, the uterus is build up with lining made of tissues and blood. Ovulation happens when they leave the ovary. The egg will pass through a tube known as fallopian tube towards the uterus.
If the sperm and egg meets together, fertilization will occur. The fertilized egg will then attach itself on the lining of the uterus. Pregnancy will then take place.
If there are no fertilization taking place, blood will flow out of the uterus, cervix, vagina and then out of the body. This is because the lining of the tissue and the blood is not needed for fertilization to take place. This process is then called menstrual flow.

every month an unfertilized egg pops out of a woman's ovaries. the uterus built a lining of blood and tissue 4 the egg 2 stay in, have it been fertilized. if not, the bloody tissue and egg(very tiny) come out of the woman through her thingy. it takes baout a week 4 all the stuff 2 come out. that is mentruation, or, period. that also explains y a woman is pregnant if her period is late; the egg is fertilized and stuck 2 the wall of her thing.

Also have sever days of being the witch from hell" with some horrible mood changes before the bleeding starts because of hormonal changes in our bodies. They call it PMS. Pre Mistral Syndrome.

it mean once a month a girl will get her period means pms .So what ever you do best stay away unless you have something like sweat and aslty to eat.When she does have her monthly that means she just became a woman ..So if you want more infor please ask your mom about the brids and bees
