When you say dial-up, I hope you mean 56k. Anyways, a typical song will take about 10 to 20 minutes each to download @ 56k.
The "need more sources" means the peer (the person offering the download) listed went offline. Try only downloading items that have several users online.
Morpheus has spyware in it's program. AVOID!

I used limewire before we upgraded from Dial-up to Dsl. I still have the "Need More Sources" and "Connecting" problems. It is depending on the file you download.

I have a cable modem and I have gotten the " need more sources" message. However, it has never taken almost a day to download anything.
Limewire is a great place to download music. Perhaps you need to update your speed connection...

no downloads on limewire are based on the number of people who has the file. look on the left and download files that have the highest number. another thing though....dial up blows. most of your downloads will take forever.

my hubby has problems with that on movies. But that's because the person you were downloading is no longer on the server. And it takes awhile when you have dial up. I have cable and it usually takes 3 hours or less for movies. I really don't have problems with the audio.

dial up is so slow just like watching paint dry unlikely you will ever be able to get enough resources to download anything worth while you need broadband sorry but that's the reality of the SITUATION.
