Anyone been to the local shop in Royston Vasey?

but i was going through this little village on holiday and there was a sign saying local shop. so my dad stopped the car and we went inside to get some drinks and things and my dad said to the person behind the counter can i speak to tubbs please
ive never been so embarrased and just walked out of the shop leaving my dad in there

Since I don't live in Royston Vasey, no shop there is "local" to me, therefore I can not answer that question.
